Author S.T. Georgiou has written a wonderfully insightful and spirit-filled book. Mystic Street (Novalis and available here) is a series of reflections on God's presence in our lives. In his experience life is full of revelatory events. Sometimes mundane and at other times profound, he reveals his encounters with grace on the subway, the beach, in monasteries, churches, on a street corner, college campus or in quiet alone times.

The author wrote this book while completing his studies for a Master’s Degree in Religion and Art at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley. It is interesting how many of his experiences during this time helped him gain new insight for  his studies as well as practical application for daily living.

Each chapter is short and meditative, but sometimes surprising events are happening to him that can only be explained in mystical ways. Georgiou takes them as expressions of God's unconditional love, the great Agape.

This book is a natural followup to his Way of the Dreamcatcher book on the poet and mystic sage, Robert Lax (a close friend of Thomas Merton). Lax continues to influence him on his spiritual quest. Read this book and join the journey.
